Details for potential contributors
(only for already commissioned papers)
1. Schedule
The launching of the book will follow the schedule given (see Schedule). The schedule of the publication will thus be strictly followed. Due to the need to ensure the schedule is up kept, no late entries will be accepted.
2. Conditions of contribution
Full paper: maximum of 20 pages of Din A4 or 9.000 words (more or less 50.000 characters). In addition to your contribution, please send us a biographical sketch (short paragraph with background information on you, your training, current work, postal and e-mail address) on a separate page, please!

- Headings: don't underline any headings
- First pages
Page 1
- Title
- Names and institutional affiliations of all authors
- Name and full address of contact person
Page 2
- Abstract (max. 250 words)
- Keywords (3-10). After that, continue with the introduction on the same page.
- Tables, Illustrations/Figures, Photographs
For all (tables, figures, plates…): Position in the text: type on a separate line "take in Table 1/Figure 2/Plate 3". Each table/figure/plate needs to be on a separate page at the end of the manuscript!
Tables
- Numbered with Roman (I, II, III …) numerals
- No vertical lines to separate columns
- Explanatory footnotes are encouraged
Figures
- Number of figures is limited to a minimum
- Figures are black/white
- Numbered with Arabic (1, 2, 3 …) numerals
- Size: approximately 15 x 18 cm (elements should be clearly legible after reduction to a printing width of 12.5 cm)
- No part of drawing is typewritten
- Graph include the legend of symbols
- Terms, abbreviations, symbols correspond with the text
- Illustrations are identified by the authors name and the figure number
Photographs ("Plates")
- At least 300 dpi
- At least 10 cm wide
- Exhibit a high contrast
4. References
- References to other publications are complete and in Harvard style
- Journal titles are not abbreviated
- Multiple citations: use a, b, c immediately following the year of publication
- R. within the text: authors last name followed by a comma and year of publication all in round brackets, e.g. (Fox, 1994)
Reference list in alphabetical order at the end of the article, as follows:
- Books: surname, initials, year of publication, title, publisher, place of publication; e.g. Casson, M. (1979), Alternatives to the Multinational Enterprise, Macmillan, London
- Chapter in edited books: surname, initials, year, "title", editor's surname, initials, title, publisher, place, pages; e.g. Bessley, M. and Wilson, P. (1984), "Public policy and small firms in Britain", in Levicki, C. (Ed.), Small Business Theory and Policy, Croom Helm, London, pp. 111-26
